Curtis Chappell

My name is Curtis Chappell and welcome to my blog!

I was born in the USA, and have lived in Australia since 2001…with a quick 11 month stint in Auckland, New Zealand in 2000…I love New Zealand…stunning scenery.

By day, I’m General Manager of an IT training company – www.itts.com.au – and by night I’m a struggling author/philosopher/blogger.

Not that I struggle with these skills…lol…it’s more a delicate balancing act between work and work…;)  Please check out my guest blog post What Probloggers Don’t Tell You – Blogging is Bloody Hard Work.

I’ve written as a past-time for most of my life, polluting many pads and various hard-drives with all kinds of unfinished projects, as I’m sure many of you have as well.

Now, I’m proud to share that after 26 months of writing part-time, my book, Reading Between the Lines, The Hidden Power of Language, is almost ready for publishing!

Click here to read more about the book…

It represents many years of personal research and experience which I’ve compacted into a clever learning device. The book is intended to motivate you to take control of your thoughts and words through an intense process of self-analysis.  It is not intended to be easy or fast!

The opening line of the introduction is, “This is not a book.  It’s a process.”

This blog is a marketing device to promote both the book and the mantra, and kicks off the pre-publication/marketing campaign.

I do hope the blog will evolve into an interaction between like-minded people who are interested in exploring some of the most significant mysteries regarding the relationships between mind, consciousness and matter.

It’s certainly evolved into much more than a marketing device for me…it’s kind of consumed my after-hours life…I hope you’ve enjoyed the visit and I look forward to reading your comments on any of my posts!

Please make sure to submit your favorite phrase for the cliche contest and a chance to not only be a part of the second book currently underway, but to also win $500 from me as a thank you for your interest and input!

You will also get promoted on this site, so click here to become a part of my journey!

Write On!
