Do You Deserve Your Place?
Out of 100’s of billions of galaxies and trillions of planets, there is one little blue sphere revolving around a spectacular star in a galaxy known by its inhabitants as The Milky Way.
Over six billion humans live on this little blue planet.
One, out of over forty million sperm, had to travel at tremendous speeds (to put it into perspective, if a sperm were the size of a salmon, it would be travelling at around 500 miles per hour) to find one specific egg before the tens of millions of others, at just the right moment on just the right day, to penetrate it; injecting the spark of life. The sperm is certainly worthy!

An explosion of splitting cells begins to geometrically create a new human being. Carried internally for nine months, this newly formed entity finally emerges, and ‘you’ are inserted into this experience ‘we’ call life.
If that’s not something to be grateful for, then consider the miracle of social interaction which had to have occurred for your parents (two out of over six billion) to first become acquainted, and then to become intimately connected at that perfect moment of procreation.
Wow! It’s amazing you exist at all!
The question is however, are you as an individual worthy of that special place in world?
Are You making the Most of Your Life?
Are you proactive in making the most of every minute of your life? Are you contributing to your personal development or society in general?
Many people I speak with feel trapped in their current situation and do not take advantage of their gifts. Everyone is watching television by night and accepting what life gives them by day.
What a waste of talent…please watch this video of Clay Shirky, professor at NYU, who discusses the actual amount of time invested in watching television in America and the amount of potential cognitive surplus of thought power that gets wasted every day…the figures are appalling!
Do us both a favor…
Turn off the TV for at least 1 hour a night and start contributing something of value to yourself and those around you if you are not doing so already…the world just might be a better place and you might experience something truly personal and inspiring!

Hi Curtis: Another thought provoking blog post. You sure are good at this. If the Super Consciousness of the Universe grants me leave to come back and experience anew a place on this earth, then I deserve to be here, so does everyone else. What I make of that opportunity is up to me. But, I believe, basically, just because we are part of the Super Consciousness, we deserve to be here, else we would not be here. Not very logical, I know. But it is my feeling. To get people questioning whether they belong here is a dangerous idea, in my view. So many people have so much trouble justifying their own existence, they cause themselves miserable lives. Right now, of course, there is plenty of room AND plenty of food (if it were distributed better) for all of us. We, humans, have to come to fuller consciousness to understand what we are doing to ourselves. Some of the reason we don’t understand is because few confirm for us that we are deserving just because we are part of the Super Consciousness. Write on ! Bob
Hi Bob, and thanks again for sharing your insight! I agree that to challenge someone’s raison d’etre can be dangerous. This post is simply to get people to take a moment to review what they are contributing to this wondrous experience of life. I spent most of my life living it without caring how or what I contributed to the total experience, and now that I’ve found a passion for growth and sharing, my life is changing dramatically…for the positive!
